Get Help

A real person is part of the design.

You should never have to understand the whole site before asking for help.

Human help

You can talk to a real person.

Email SCC, request a phone conversation, or use Local Help and Resources first if you prefer to look around on your own.

You are contacting SCC about: Volunteer question
You came here from: Volunteer.

What to include

Ask about the type of volunteer role you are considering. SCC can help you understand the next step without asking you to commit.

  • The role or activity you are asking about
  • Your community or travel area, if relevant
  • Your immediate question
  • Whether you would prefer a reply by email or a scheduled phone conversation
  • Only the contact details SCC needs to reply
What happens next: SCC will respond with the clearest next step available. A question does not register you, promise an opening or commit you to a role.

Before sending personal information, include only what SCC needs to understand the question or request. SCC will ask for additional details only when they are necessary.

Prefer to look first? You can browse Local Help or Resources and come back without losing access to human help.
Complaint or safety concern? Use the dedicated Complaint or concern / Safety concern link in the footer so SCC can identify the issue clearly, document it and review the next safe step.
Emergency: SCC is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical help, call 911.
